Devan Ogburn

Devan Ogburn is a Postgraduate student in the Politics of Conflict, Rights, and Justice Program at SOAS and was the Managing Editor for the SOAS class of 2019-2020.

Originally from Washington DC, Devan completed a bachelor’s degree in International Relations at American University with minors in Literature and African American and African Diaspora Studies. Her research interests range from refugee rights and humanitarian aid to environmental sustainability and literacy.

At (Re)imagining Peace + Justice, Devan’s hope is to provide creative ways in using the art of storytelling to educate the world on current world issues and potential solutions.
